Over half of internet users watch and download online videos. In the last month, we’ve shared numerous videos with you on Nixielife.com. As mentioned in our earlier blog we are going to explain the concept of video series and the steps to create one.
A video series is a set of videos (2 or more) interlinked by the user for convenience of viewing and instead of searching for parts of video the viewer is able to watch the video series in the exact same order as posted.

Here’s a step by step tutorial about uploading a video series.

STEP 1: When you are logged in with your account you can simply go to the videos section located in the upper panel, hover your mouse over it and you’ll see a sub menu. Click on ‘Add videos’.
STEP 2: Now You’ll see three options on the next page concerning video series, select the second one to create a new video series and fill out the title, description and category of your series and click continue.
STEP 3: On the next page you’ll see three different options to upload your video, we are going to use the easiest one i.e. option no. 2 ‘Add a video in flv format from an internet url’. There are various websites which offers variety of videos in flv format like; youtube.com, metacafe.com etc etc. Here we have taken a link from youtube and entered it in place of video url and click continue.
STEP 4: Next page is about description and title of the video. You can give a title and a brief description of your video here and also you can assign a category in which your video most likely fits and lastly you can add 1 or more tags (separated with spaces) to your video to make it easier to spot. When you are done click ‘Save & Add Another’ to add another video in the series
STEP 5: This Time upon clicking add videos or ‘Save & Add Another’ when you are shown three options you should select the third one i.e. ‘Append this video to a recently used video series’ and from the drop down menu select the title of your video series which you gave it in STEP 2.
STEP 6: Now repeat STEPS 3-6 until you upload the last video of your video series, when you do so then in STEP 5 click ‘Save & Watch’ instead and you are done.
